Meet with Patsy for a 2 hr. class each month and learn to do beautiful hand applique, inspired by the album quilts made in Baltimore more than 150 years ago. This class will use Mimi Dietrich's book, Baltimore Basics, and some additional patterns provided by the teacher. Choose either 10" or 12" blocks.
Learn three ways to make stems, as well as mastering curves, points, and perfect circles. Explore handbasted preparation, freezer paper (front and back), plastic template, stitch marked and needle turn techniques.
By the end of the year, you will have completed twelve or more blocks, and be skilled in several applique methods.Cost:
