Celebrate spring by making a quilt that's a real beauty! Patsy will lead you through each step: baskets of flowers, butterflies and diagonal setting. In five monthly classes, you will finish this 49"x49" quilt top, and have lots of fun experiencing new techniques like tinting with crayons, simple hand embroidery, hand applique and more.
Prerequisite: Experience in rotary cutting and sewing 1/4" seams.
Register for this class by January 10 and receive a FREE shop tour/workshop with the teacher to select fabrics and supplies.

- Embroidery floss may be substituted for Perle Cotton-same numbers

-box of 96 crayola crayons
-roll of white paper towels
-1 sheet template plastic
-sharpener for crayons
-freezer paper
-thread for you sewing machine (needed in sessions 3 and 5)

-basic sewing supplies, pincushion, scissors, ripper, etc.
Before class: Prewash & press fabrics, no fabric softener. Cut nine background blocks (12"), and iron 11" square of freezer paper to the wrong side of each. Bring these blocks, "Backporch Beauties" pattern, Pigma pen, paper towels, crayons, sharpener, iron & pad, light box to the first class.
