No tracing or marking! Using a 16 1/2" square whole cloth top, all you have to do is layer and baste, then learn to do the traditional hand quilting stitch, including beginning and ending knots. You will quilt straight lines first, then move on to curves in session 2. By the end of class, you'll be well on your way to making the perfect stitch.

Supplies:
-miniature whole cloth kit (printed top and batting)
-backing...24" square, 100% cotton, can be solid or print
-quilting hoop...14" wood suggested
-quilter's thimble (raised ridge around top)
-betweens quilting needles..sz 9
-100% cotton, glazed, hand quilting thread, matching or contrasting color
-masking tape
-small sharp scissors
-quilt basting needle
-basting thread in pastel color (old poly-cotton junk thread is OK)
-basic sewing supplies: pincushion, pins, seam ripper, pen or pencil
